QA Director

Cognata is at the forefront of the explosive growth of the autonomous vehicle industry – fusing Deep Neural Networks, Big Data algorithms, and 3D simulation/mapping to succeed in a massive undertaking – supporting the full product life cycle of developing Autonomous Vehicles, to be rolled out in the real world, after being rigorously tested in billions of miles of simulated driving.

We’re looking for a talented QA Director reporting directly to the VP R&D.

In this role, you will manage our QA team, responsible for the Quality assurance of Cognata’s large-scale Simulation Platform and cloud products.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the QA team that verifies and validates  (automatic and manual tests) a high-scale advanced cloud application platform, including:

  • Complex Web Applications (Front-end and Back-end)

  • Complex 3D physical simulation engine

  • Automotive Industry oriented APIs

• Design, implement and maintain the automation test framework for Cognata products.

Qualifications

• Experience of at least 10 years in QA Team Management.

• Experience of at least 5 years in building and implementing Test Automation of complex systems.

• Vast experience with Python, Selenium, GIT, and Jira.

• Experience in recruiting and training new team members.

• Proven experience in both Linux & Windows environments including installation and setup.

• Understanding and experience of a Cloud environment – advantage

• Experience with CI/CD systems – Advantage.

• Relevant degree – Advantage.
