Cognata won first place in The China-Israel Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest 2021

On December 15, the Fifth China-Israel Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Contest 2021 was successfully held in Changzhou. Cognata autonomous
driving simulation platform won the championship of innovation finals.

The contest is supported by the International Cooperation Department of
the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, co-sponsored by China
Science and Technology Exchange Center (cetec) and Israel innovation
authority (IIA), and co-organized by Changzhou Municipal People’s
government. Scientific and technological innovation is an important
“theme word” and “booster” of China Israel cooperation. The competition
provides a platform for innovative entrepreneurs of China and Israel to
exchange, interact and seek cooperation, and promote innovation and
development cooperation between Chinese and Israeli enterprises.

The contest has different parts such as “co-construction plan” promotion,
online roadshow and Q&A, etc. It ran online live broadcasting, inviting
representatives of experts, enterprises, scientific research institutes, and
investment institutions in Israel and domestic-related fields to jointly
participate in the meeting.

The contest received 71 technical cooperation demands of 20 large Chinese
enterprises and 83 Israeli innovative technology projects shortlisted in the
audition. After audition and field finals, 9 enterprises in three fields of life
and health, intelligent technology, and green technology were shortlisted
for the innovation finals. Finally, Cognata autonomous driving simulation
platform won the champion in the finals.

Cognata autonomous driving simulation platform provides simulation solutions
for the entire autonomous driving product life cycle – from training to testing to
deployment, which can help users accurately develop and accelerate the time to
market of their products. At the moment when autonomous driving has become
the trend, Cognata simulation platform has brought strong help to the industry
in the field of intelligent software and made a contribution to the development
of autonomous driving.

The China-Israel Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest, which began in
2017, is a pragmatic and efficient innovation cooperation platform for Chinese
and Israeli entrepreneurs. It is co-sponsored by China Science and Technology
Exchange Center and Israel Innovation Agency and have received strong guidance
and support from the Department of international cooperation of the Ministry
of Science and Technology.

This competition is as an opportunity to build a landmark project
“benchmarking demonstration” of China Israel innovation cooperation,
and promote more innovative achievements in the fields of life and health,
artificial intelligence, green technology, and so on to land in Changzhou.
