Cognata has been selected as a finalist in the xTechGlobal AI Challenge!

The US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) is
sponsoring an ongoing unique international prize competition focused on
identifying innovative, relevant technologies in Artificial Intelligence (AI),
in an effort to foster international, non-traditional novel technology solutions.
Cognata is presenting a new, unique simulation platform for the training and
validating autonomous robotics unmanned vehicles, using synthetic data
with a digital twin environment. The off-road simulation platform offers
control challenges for terrains that do not offer a clear road definition and for
paths that offer challenging conditions such as boulders, side slopes, difficult
tractions, and more.
The xTech Global Artificial (AI) Challenge is a two-round competition,
where up to ten finalists will receive an award of $10,000 each and pitch
their dual-use technologies at the Innovation Hub (I-HUB) Imperial College
London this September 2021, where DASA has its London office. In conjunction
with the pitch event, DASA will host UK Venture capitalists who are looking
to invest in the AI technology area.
The event – xTech Global AI Challenge – is an extension of the US Army’s
very successful Expeditionary Technology Search (xTechSearch) program,
expanding the concept for the first time to a global audience.
