The 2nd Software Defined Auto Summit 2021

The second SDVF software-defined automobile Summit Forum 2021 and
AUTOSAR 2021 China Day, jointly organized by Gasgoo, AUTOSAR and
Shanghai Auto Show, was successfully closed in Shanghai from April 19 to 21.
Cognata, as the representative of Israel’s autonomous driving technology,
took part in the exhibition with the latest version of autonomous driving and
ADAS cloud simulation platform and received wide interest from the participants.

The core technology of Cognata is large-scale simulation. Using the combination
of artificial intelligence, deep learning and computer vision, Cognata reproduces
the city on its 3D simulation platform, providing customers with various test
driving scenarios simulating the real world. Cognata technology is mainly divided
into 4 layers. On the static layer, Cognata’s engine uses computer vision and deep
learning algorithms to automatically generate a virtual simulation environment
including buildings, roads, and traffic signs according to maps and satellite images.
On the dynamic layer, Cognata establishes an accurate and scalable traffic simulation
model and weather lighting model based on the historical traffic flow data of streets,
and simulates various vehicles and pedestrians in the real environment. The whole
virtual simulation engine combines the static and dynamic simulation models to
simulate the interactions between sensors and the simulated environment,
and provides a complete feedback loop for the automatic driving system to be tested.

The conference mainly focused on the development trend, core technology and
new generation of electronic and electrical architecture of software-defined vehicles,
focusing on the introduction and latest progress of software defined vehicles.
Major OEM, Tier1, sensors and other leading enterprises in the automotive industry
participated in the conference, and exchanged the latest technologies and trends,
and jointly contributed to a high-quality industry event.
